Hello Friends,

On March 9th, 2020 I will be entering The Headroom in Philadelphia  with Producer Joe Reinhart (Hop Along, Algernon Cadwallader) to make my 3rd full length album. I've been working on these songs since before Cesaréa came out (May 2017) and feel like I've got the workings of a really formidable Americana album.

While I've got lofty ideas of what I want to aim for, I'll refrain from mentioning anything specific for fear of ruining or souring your eventual listening experience. I can't tell you exactly what the album will sound like, but I can tell you this is the most potent and focused group of songs I've ever written.

I feel like this is a really big step for me career-wise, but it's a bit of a stretch financially.

Long story short, I need to come up with right around $10,000 to get this album finished and ready to print.

(continued below)

A more detailed timeline looks like this:

March 9th - $3500

March 22nd - $1500

April 3rd - $2600

May 1st - $2500

I'm going to be updating this number daily to reflect what we've raised so far:

$4,330.71 of 10,000 Raised

There are a lot of different ways you can help me raise this money. Over the next few months I'll be highlighting the different things you can do to help me make this happen, as well as the people that are going above and beyond to help.

Below is a list of the top 10 ways you can help me make this album happen.

1. Make a straight donation.

There's a whole lot of operating costs involved in making an album. Whether it's the high cost of studio time, paying my band, or getting my guitars set up to play and sound the best they can, it adds up to a lot. A straight donation makes sure the most money goes directly to paying for the album.

This website is set up best to receive Paypal donations, which is great. It does take a small percentage. If you don't want to use PayPal, you can still donate through Cash App or Venmo.

2. Become a Patron on Patreon

If I wasn’t currently fundraising for a new record, Patreon would probably be at the top of the list.

Because I travel so much, it's hard for me to have a set schedule with work here in Brooklyn. I'm so fortunate to have two bars that let me pick up shifts when I'm in town, but there is never any sort of guarantee as to how much money I will make. All of my other income streams (song royalties, ticket/merchandise sales, etc.) are based on so many variables that I can’t rely on any sort of consistency from month to month.

While I'm typically able to pick up shifts and pay my bills, there's hardly any money left over to put towards making more music.

It's 2020 and content is king, but quality content typically requires time and money.
